Our Mission
For over 15 years, Friends for Friends has been dedicated to providing comfort and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment in the Cape Ann area.
What started as a simple idea during a Relay for Life event has grown into a meaningful mission that touches lives every month.
We provide carefully curated comfort bags filled with essential items that help alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Each bag is prepared with love and delivered free of charge to patients at Addison Gilbert Hospital's chemotherapy infusion department and to individuals throughout our community.

Each comfort bag costs $150 to prepare and contains carefully selected items that provide practical relief and emotional support. From soothing skin care products to warm accessories and gift cards for essential expenses, every item serves a purpose in the healing journey.

Our dedicated Board of Directors volunteers their time to purchase items, fill bags, and deliver them at no cost. Every dollar you donate helps provide comfort to someone facing cancer.
